CLIP Paint Lab

I found via tumblr about this program called CLIP Paint Lab and it's awesome even if it's on japanese only and I know nada of japanese. It's like Photoshop and PaintTool SAI together in one (they say). But it's got one asskickin' pencil stabilizer !

My laptop's been failing so I can't do any sketching on PaintTool SAI, so instead I've turned to Sketchbook Mobile for the iPhone/iPod/iPad

It's one nifty application!

Tho I'm learning how to draw with my fingertips tho, but I feel I'm gettin better quickly.

A couple of weeks ago I watched the whole Robotech: The Macross Saga series.

I love it. I loved it back in the 80's when they first broadcasted it in Mexico and now that I see it again I felt all the emotions come back just as intense as I first saw it.

Somewhere in the back of my head an idea popped.

It's the first time in all of Kylie's career that comes touring to Mexico, and she came to Monterrey!

Hopefully I won't have to wait another 20 years for her next visit.

Estoy obsesionado con esta escultura.

El Caballo de Fernando Botero que fue instalado temporalmente en la Explanada de Los Heroes, Macroplaza, Monterrey, y posteriormente transladado a su lugar permanente frente a los lofts esos a un lado del MUNE.

Me gusta mucho sentarme y admirarlo.

Se que decir caballo obeso de Botero es una redundancia, pero bueno.

Jean Michel Jarre - Last Rendez-Vous (Ron's Piece) - "Challenger"

Hoy hace 25 años, el astronauta Ron McNair entraría en órbita, con su saxofón.

En el espacio, grabaría una melodía compuesta por el, que seria colaboración para el álbum próximo a salir del músico francés Jean Michel Jarre "Rendez-vous".

Esta seria la primera pieza original de música interpretada y grabada en el espacio exterior.
Tambien, estaba planeado que McNair tocara en vivo, desde el espacio, via enlace directo a un concierto de Jarre.

Desgraciadamente, Ron McNair y el resto de la tripulación del transbordador espacial Challenger, fallecieron en el trágico accidente.

Jean Michel Jarre incluyó la melodia de McNair en el album, interpretada por Pierre Gossez, cambiando el nombre de la pieza a Last Rendez-vous "Ron's Piece"
